Trade with the Scandinavian countries, the Baltics, the Mediterranean, Asia, Africa and the American plantations brought great wealth to the merchants of Horn. This can still be seen today.

Keukenhof

The famous tulip garden is open from mid-March to mid-May. Thousands of tulips in all colours, as well as hyacinths, daffodils and beautiful orchids.

Utrecht is a beautiful, cosy city with a history that began 2,000 years ago. Outside the city is De Haar castle of the Van Zuylen van Nijvelt family. It looks like a fairy-tale castle and you can dream away.

City Walk Delft

ity of famous painter Johannes Vermeer. Delft has one of the most beautiful historic city centres in the Netherlands. Members of the royal family are buried in the crypt of the beautiful gothic Nieuwe Kerk (about 600 years old). Dutch naval heroes are buried in the Oude Kerk (c. 750 years old).
